EDUCATION

By intentionally combining faith, education and community, Catholic schools holistically support the spiritual, academic, social and emotional development of students.

This is especially important in our cities, where Catholic schools can also engender trust and cohesiveness among neighbors, leading to increased civic engagement, student achievement and persistence and thriving, safe communities.

Today, the Most Reverend Christopher J. Coyne, Archbishop of Hartford, is leading an effort to return Catholic education to Hartford. The Connecticut Catholic Foundation supports that effort while also seeking investments for existing schools in New Haven, Hartford and Litchfield Counties.

Your gift empowers Catholic school students to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, engage them in their role as active participants in the Church and to foster their growth spiritually, academically, personally and morally.

Renovation and expansion of the Cathedral Campus is one of the top priorities for the Archdiocese of Hartford. Upon its completion, the campus will be an invaluable hub for parish and community engagement, interfaith connection and more.
